Road Safety
Provincial law requires vehicles to use winter tires from October 1 through April 30 on most highways.
Proper winter tires give you better traction and will help you stay safe on wet, snowy, or icy roads. That can make the difference between you arriving safely or being in a serious crash. Learn about winter tire regulations on BC highways, and which tires are right for your vehicle here.

Health & Wellness
Physical and mental health has never been more important.
Operated by HealthLink BC, 8-1-1 is a free-of-charge provincial health information and advice phone line available in BC. You can speak to a health service navigator who can help you find health information and services or connect you directly with a registered nurse, a registered dietitian, a qualified exercise professional, or a pharmacist. Any one of these healthcare professionals will help you get the support you need to manage your health concerns or those of your family.
With BC's Hub for Workplace Mental Health, learn how to start a difficult conversation with an employee or coworker, discover new resources, and connect. The road to wellbeing starts with each of us taking the first step. If you are in need of immediate assistance please dial 9-1-1 or 9-8-8. You’re not alone in this journey.
