Abby will be painting in the base area from 10:00am - 12:00pm.
Abby Wilson is Whitewater's Artist in Residence. Working in acrylic on canvas, Abby strives to capture her love of Kootenay mountain landscapes with bright colours and bold shapes. She spends as much time as possible hiking in the alpine all summer, often sketching in ink and watercolour along the trail to plan future paintings. Abby is represented by ViewPoint Art Gallery and is an Active Member of the Federation of Canadian Artists.

Plein Air Painting means 'in the open air' and is all about leaving the studio behind and painting in the natural elements.
