YES we are OPENING

Seriously, we're doing everything possible to get you sliding on the slopes! We here at Whitewater are known for our deep snow but what maybe is not as well known is that fact that Nelson is truly a passionate ski community. It is for this reason that the team here at Whitewater are doing everything we can to get our guests out on the slopes this weekend. Scroll down to see more photos from today!

Although we are going to make this weekend (December 13 & 14) happen, with no new snow in the short term forecast we are going to have to close up shop next week in hopes that the snow gods finally cooperate and bring us more snow before the 20th of December. With this same warm trend happening across the West, there have been various sacrifices being made to bring the snow. Our friends at ROAM have had the classic ski burning party and a neighbouring resort has sacrificed a pineapple to send this Pineapple Express on its way. We would love to hear what methods of madness you have been doing to bring the white stuff? Leave a comment here or post on our Facebook page how you are upping the ante of your snow dance. We will be updating our snow report with what terrain will be open this weekend but we can guarantee that Silver King will be spinning. So come up and get your plank(s) under you, taste our FULL menu (new menu items!), indulge in a beverage and talk about the weather with your friends and family at your local resort.
