Warmin' up the season with Little Mucker
Unlike any other ski hill in Canada, the culture at Whitewater has a unique flavor that has been organically refined over decades by a dedicated following of committed locals. Our new Speakski Series defines some classic Whitewater terminology so you can keep up with the locals off the hill. What a better place to warm up than Little Mucker.

Little Mucker
noun | lit·tle muck·er | \ˈli-tᵊl ˈmək-kər\
A stretch of meticulously groomed corduroy specifically designed for cruising, mucking about or for honing technique in comfort.
A ski run for letting go of the reins, mastering the transition from pizza to french fries or learning to ski switch. Often a source of great anxiety and lip-biting for young grasshoppers graduating from the Hummer Handle Tow, Little Mucker is typically a place of déjà vu for parents and instructors alike.
Origins: From early Canadian mining term muck which refers to the material removed in the process of excavating or mining.
