The Whitewater Adventure Centre and Big Red Cats are teaming up for an ??only-on-the-powder-highway??experience. Brand new for this season is the Powderhound Experience, a 2 day off-piste and powder based ski and board clinics aimed at getting you to rip the pow!You??l spend one day skiing or riding with one of our fantastic ski/board pros at Whitewater. The focus is skiing/riding terrain that is similar to what you?? ski/ride on a typical day cat skiing - trees, chutes, pillows, and any other type of terrain the mountain can throw at us. We??l also talk about conserving energy, picking fluid lines, and becoming more efficient skiers/riders.If day 1 wasn?? enough for you, then day 2 is going to blow you away. You??l meet your pro at the summit of the Nancy Greene Highway, about an hour from Nelson, and catch a ride with Big Red Cats! We??l go rip up the beautiful Kootenay pow and your pro will be on hand to make sure you??e using your new found skills. We??l have the cameras rolling so we can review the footage in the cat on the way up and keep you progressing your skiing/riding on the way down.
