Very Big Year

It's been one of those special years up at Whitewater. Perhaps one of the best. Hard to argue with that. A brand spanking new chair, imbued with great exploration and serious stash mining. It snowed virtually every week. Never rained once, with consistently cold temperatures and beautifully conjured Kootenay gold that fell deeply and with great regularity. The touring was spectacular, with one of the most stable snowpacks we've seen in years. The new Freeride Team went off, so did Coldsmoke (which finally got actual coldsmoke), basically, Whitewater during the season of 2010/11 was a veritable smile fest. It was for this dedicated skier anyway. The only sad part is that it's got to end. Lots of pow to be had before that happens though...
