Tight and bright!

A strong contingent of Nelsonites anticipates an opportunity like today's Tight and Bright day at Whitewater. During the off-season these extroverts undertake thrift-shop expeditions to Spokane to stockpile their closet-sized tickle trunks, working into the wee hours on costumes just for the chance to show off on days like this (or any other random retro ski day such as the Slush Cup, the first and last days of the season, Coldsmoke, Solstice, Fridays, etc.). One things is certain: these funky folks know how to have a good time! Near the end of Tight and Bright day I was walking through the parking lot, thinking that my techy orange Gore-tex jacket fits pretty snugly when suddenly I was upstaged by three lovely ladies fresh off a private jet from Vegas: Robyn, Kay and Ashley, whose names sound too hot to be real. They were on their way in for the 4pm fashion show and looking on track to turn some heads. Good thing we have the one way traffic loop now otherwise it would have been messy in the lot. Seems like they brought not only some flare but a bit of snow with them too! Thanks girls! Thanks Whitewater too! SO
