"The best opening day since 1998 ?? "

Thanks to 70cm of fresh in the last week, Whitewater now boasts a 190cm snowpack. On Friday morning a blanket of 10cm of fluffy stuff set the tone for what's been a powder-full opening weekend. As if by the flick of a switch, Friday and today felt like it was the middle of January. Whitewater has certainly set the bar high for 2012??2013. For me, this has been the best opening conditions I can remember, though I have a feeling I haven't been around long enough. I bet one of the Whitewater lifers could one-up this opening with a tale from the 80's ?? or at least compare it to the good ole days. Oh yeah, and thanks Whitewater staff for a seamless start to the season!
