Tag Teamin' at Coldsmoke

Just when you thought it couldn't get any better!! Grab a partner and TAG TEAM the Classic Course! Welcoming all disciplines of snow sport: talent, skill, tenacity, creativity, and individual expression welcome at this burly but fun contest.

The ROAM Randonnee Rally is truly a Coldsmoke institution, now in its 9th year, the race continues its evolution as an enticing offering in our line-up of competitions. The ROAM Rando is a Ski Mountaineering Race in the Heart of the Kootenays with great terrain and a stunning race course. There are lots of different options to participate including an Open Course (long course), a Classic Course (recreational course) and of course??tag teams with combined ages divisions!

The Tag Team race has one team member start at the gate, ski tour through the first half of the course, meet the other team member at the top of the Hummer Handle to high five so that the second team member can tackle the second half. Now there is no excuse, grab a partner and start training, tinkering your transitions, coaxing your partner or scoping your line NOW! We are rewarding contestants that plan ahead, register early for a discounted entry fee!
