Summit Chair From Another Mother
Last week I had to go away on business. A trade show. Not the most ideal of trips, but work needed to be done. The destination, Utah. Normally a great place to go, with proximity to epic resorts like Snowbird and Alta. But this year, Utah wasn't looking so good. Like most of the southern states, winter 2012 had been dry as a popcorn fart. But, alas, I headed into the drabness of rocks and crappy snow, with my skis of course. Turns out, 3-4 feet of wicked snow would fall while we were in the convention center hawking our wares, and on the Sunday after it was all done, I found myself on a freshly opened chair with bluebird skies, freaking locals and a whole bunch of Utah freshies to be had. And lone behold, where was this stash? Solitude's Summit Chair, a wicked out-of-the-way double chair beauty. Seems the apple never falls far from the tree.
