Social Inspiration
It's seems it always pukes here in Nelson. And I can understand how we get so accustomed to its regularity. And now, with the advent of social media, it's almost impossible to stay separate from it. Check your Facebook and it's there in all forms: words, video, photography and otherwise. Istagram, check. Twitter, of course. Even email and text (if your friends are conniving enough) finds its way on to your devices, ensuring that you know how good it is. Which is a good thing I guess. It lights a fire under your ass to really reconsider why you weren't up there tapping into the goods like "everyone else." And while it might be especially painful when, for whatever reason, you can't make it to the epicness so obviously going down, it's worth the pain for those times a little digital prompt makes you drop what you're doing and go get some. Because, well, for as much as it's good around here, it's not epic every single day of the year. And if you miss those babies, well, are you're left with is to hear (and see and watch and read) about it.
