Nine Questions on the Chair #12

Let's face(shot) it ... It's one dedicated community of friendly enthusiasts who make skiing at Whitewater so unique. This series continues to explore the Whitewater devotee through a few quick questions as we ride the chair. We've added one question to last year's for extra flavour. Ridin the chair with RenaeSki, ride, tele or backcountry? Ski and backcountry. Backcountry is my first love (lift lines make me nervous).

How long have you been skiing at Whitewater?This is my 2nd year. My partner and I drive up here from Washington state in our camper, the season has been better up here the last few years and we have friends up here now.

First Chair or last chair?First.

If you could rename or name a Whitewater run what would it be?I don't know the names of the runs here too well. I love Sluice Box?? let me think about it...

What's your deepest powder day at Whitewater?20 cm.What dish would you be at Fresh Tracks cafe?Ymir Bowl. If you could ski Whitewater with anyone who would it be?My partner, Kevin. [Who was off exploring Summit and Glory side. Renae was still getting her powder legs so had opted for the new Beginner Lift Only pass??a great deal??especially for early season.]

Do you have a secret stash?It's in the backcountry, we call it Washington Glades.

If snow could be a flavour of ice cream what flavour would it be for you?Chocolate chip.
