Mid Season Update from Mount Carlyle

We have had such a great season so far at Mount Carlyle Backcountry Lodge. Our guests have enjoyed untouched powder runs and beautiful consistent conditions. Many groups this year have taken interest and completed the "circumnavigation of Mount Carlyle". This Tour is a full day of shredding and exploring 5 different passes and basins including: Boulder Pass, Flint Basin, 12 Mile Basin, White Wolfe, and Prospector Pass. Our eager guests have gotten a taste of many different mountain aspects, both mellow and steep terrain, beautiful ridge exploration walks, and Magnificent views of the Bugaboos, Percells, and Valhallas. This tour keeps you movin' and groovin' and wanting more vertical!!

In other tasty news, our catering program has gained much popularity this year. Groups are enjoying longer days in the backcountry and ending their adventures at our cozy lodge with delicious apres ski treats ready to be eaten while taking in our infamous view of Kokanee Glacier on our spacious south facing deck.
