Kootenay Riders comes to Whitewater

Whitewater is proud to become the newest host resort for Kootenay Riders, which operates under the umbrella of the North Shore Snowboard Team. Kootenay Riders has been in operation since 2002, based out of Rossland, BC. This season will see the formation of a new club that will train at Whitewater! This organization brings a wealth of experience and expertise to Whitewater and will provide a top level program devoted specifically to snowboarding.

Under the guidance of Kootenay Riders head coach Connor Martin, the new Whitewater program will focus on training athletes to compete in a wide variety of snowboarding events. Former NSST and KR athletes have gone on to compete in Provincial, National, and International levels. Not into competing? No problem! Coaches are there to help you achieve your snowboarding goals, however big or small they might be!
