Kids Art Competition
We'd like to invite the children of our community to help us celebrate the new Raven chairlift we have going in this year by creating a picture of their favourite moments or winter dream at Whitewater. We'd love to see what it is that our kids picture when they think of skiing or riding at Whitewater. Is it the challenge of skiing under the chairlift, or maybe hitting some jumps all along the edge of the runs? Is it eating poutine while sitting in the warmth of the lodge on a cold day? Whatever it is that inspires the joy that makes great memories for the kids in our comminuty, we'd love to see it!
We will have prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place and some chosen pictures will be displayed around the Day Lodge and Skier Services Building throughout this season. The winning picture will be made into a poster and used for our Winter Wonderland event in January as well as other kids programs and events happening this winter.
Prizes are as follows:
- 1st prize - A Season Pass for winter 2023/24
- 2nd prize - An All Mountain Full-Day Lift Ticket (or the equivalent value in Resort Credit if the child is already a Season Passholder) & a Whitewater toque
- 3rd prize - An All Mountain Full-Day Lift Ticket (or the equivalent value in Resort Credit if the child is already a Season Passholder)
Here is how to participate and enter to win:
- Hard copy submissions dropped off in-person at 602 Lake Street and/or digital copies sent to .
- All submissions must be received by December 1, 2023
- The age range for submissions is 5-12 years old
- Please include the name and email address and/or phone number of the student on the back of the submission or as part of the digital submission
- Winners will be announced on December 11, 2023
