Gentem Bowl Refresh

I am not going to lie. Lately this warm beautiful weather has been working hard to switch my brain from winter and snowboarding to summer and biking. Then, it happened. I arrived to the mountain on Saturday morning and Ymir mountain was already glimmering in the sunshine. The Gentem bowl, after hours upon hours of man labour, cat time, and even an excavator, was perfected. There is no other word to describe it other than perfect, well except maybe F-U-N! Then, the session began. There was talent, from local athletes to pro rider such as Josh Dirkson, taking their turns at figuring out their flow. And the Gentemstick riders were showing them how it was done. The vibe was high and all I could think about was getting my board back on to join the shred community. So get your board, or your skis, back out of the closet as winter is NOT over. It is spring and the bowl is staying to be sessioned! Conditions permitting, we will be keeping the bowl open until our closing weekend on April 7.
