Coldsmoke New Media Face-off

This year at the Kootenay Coldsmoke Festival, KMC Magazine and Arc'teryx partnered with Whitewater Winter Resort to host a first of its kind month long multimedia competition aimed at redefining your atypical slideshow competition. We invited four of the area's more talented digital creatives to put together 4-5 minute shows that capture the essence of winter in the backcountry. Sunshine Coast resident and frequent Kootenay visitor, Nicolas Teichrob of Dendrite Studios took the win, followed closely by Nelson residents Ryan Flett and Mike Parenteau.
