Christmas delivery: Snow

The present most skiers typically want for christmas (after new ski gear) is snow, and this year there were many happy skiers to be found up at whitewater over the Christmas holidays. With 36cm having fallen over this holiday week so far, there have been plenty of opportunities to get out an enjoy some pre-Christmas turns. Christmas Day was a particular good day to get out for some skiing after the presents were all unwrapped and just prior to consuming copious amounts of food that would no doubt render most people un-skiable the next day.

The deadly food coma can sideline a skier unnecessarily for a solid day but luckily there is always more snow in the forecast, it's Whitewater after all!Enjoy.Backcountry Skiing Canada
