Avalanche Conditions Report 2: Vitamin D courage—Sunny skies don't mean you should go big

Avalanche hazard is moderate with good skiing to be found in protected areas. The surface hoar is growing and there are two more layers down 20cms and 50-80cms that are reacting in testing. Never underestimate the surface hoar as it can quickly become a dangerous persistent weak layer.
