All I Want for Christmas is SNOW!
It seems that Mother Nature and Santa Claus are working together this year to provide us with some Kootenay POW for the Holidays. Last night we received 5 cms of fresh snow, 8 cms since 5 am and woke up to a blanket of white in Nelson. There is more snow in the forecast (possibly 10 ?? 20 cms tonight!!), and great existing coverage throughout the mountain! Conditions are excellent for powderhounds and first timers alike! Our hours of operation remain the same until Christmas Day. Christmas day we will be open 11 ?? 3pm, so it will be a breeze to make it up there in time for first chair! All of our lodge services will be open at 10 am, so let us make your breakfast and latte. Snow School will be available for lessons, please ensure to book your Christmas lessons a minimum of 24 hours in advance to ensure instructor availability (group lessons at 11am and 1:15pm, private lessons: 3, 2, or 1 hours available). Our Nordic trails are also in great shape right now, and are set for both skate ski and classic. For more details about Nordic skiing, click HERE, and check our Snow Report for up to date conditions.
We will have limited terrain open Christmas day (Silver King and Summit chairs only) so our prices will be reflective of this. The pricing will be as follows: Adult $51.00 Youth $40.50 Junior $25.50 Senior $40.50 One ride $21.00 Hummer $10.00
It?? a great time to come on up and use that new Gift Card you got for Christmas...Oops. SPOILER ALERT! Act surprised when you open it, don?? tell your mom I told you!
Happy Holidays!
