4th Annual SMITH Whitewater Jr Freeski Open - Results

Day 1 was a surprise powder day with 7 cms of new snow after some early morning thunder and lightning that had us expecting the worst. We were treated to a powder day with excellent visibility and everyone threw down on Sleeper. 77 out of 90 participants competed on day 2 and with slightly more challenging conditions due to mixed temperatures. No complaints from the competitors (especially from this guy) and they used the natural features to impress the judges on a fan favorite run, Blast. The Blast is such an excellent run for speactators, and this year we even added a beer garden at the base! Great views of all the athletes day 2 runs, a great way to spend a Sunday.
