2014 ROAM Randonnee Rally Results!
It was a cold start today, a chilly -15 degrees celcius, but the temps didn't deter our athletes. The sun was shining fiercly and conditions were ideal for the race. We'd like to thank everyone who participated, and give a few shout outs. First of all, congrats to our youngest competititor, Ben Woodward, 14 years of age, who completed the Men's Open course, which is approximately 1558m/5112 ft of vertical, over 8.5 kms! Well done Ben! We were also stoked to see more of a splitboard presence this year, with 4 competitors on splitboards. Thank you, ROAM, Nelson Search and Rescue, and our many volunteers it takes to make this event possible.
