The Sounds of Coldsmoke
February 6-8, 2026

Friday, February 6 Epoch
Friday, February 6: 12:00pm - 2:00pm on our on-the-snow patio
Zak Hilton, aka Epoch, is a UK-born DJ and promoter representing global dance sounds. Post-COVID, he founded the Manchester event series Epoch, hosting artists such as Main Phase, 4am Kru, Groovy D, Killa P, and an early booking of Prozak before his wider rise. He continues to carry the Epoch name forward as a nod to where it started — community-driven, grassroots, and built with intention.
He now runs Last Trax in Nelson, with his work — and DJ sets — centred on forward-thinking, high-impact sounds rooted deep in the UK underground.

Saturday, February 7 Flowshine
Saturday, February 7: 12:00pm - 3:30pm on our on-the-snow patio
Flowshine has spent over a decade carving a path a little left of centre. Their love of adventure, experience, and bringing people together with music has taken them from their home in Calgary to oft-overlooked corners of the country. Their openness to experimentation and desire to make something wondrous has led them to moulding a distinct brand of indie/alternative music with big harmonies and sing-along hooks. Their songs demonstrate strong musicianship, relatable storytelling, and often feature musical guests lending their signature to the Flowshine whole. The band has said, “We want our music to be fun and emotive; we want people to jump in our canoe and let us guide them down the river, showing them things they’ve never experienced.”
They have been cutting their teeth, sharing stages with bands like Five Alarm Funk, Bend Sinister, and Chilliwack and have performed in an eclectic and extensive list of venues from Dawson City, Yukon to the heart of Halifax, Nova Scotia.
