Mini Mucker SkiMo Race

Want to test your winter fitness? Get yourself dialed in for your touring season with Whitewater Athlete, former National Ski Mountaineering Team Member, and local Physiotherapist Lori Anne Donald as she leads an evening ski touring race on Monday, January 12, 2026 from 5:00pm - 7:00pm.
Participants will meet in the Yurt before 5:00pm for registration and bib numbers. Warm-up and race overview at 5:00pm and the race starts at 5:30pm. Complete as many laps as you can up Lower Sluice Box to Little Mucker and back down Racer's Line in one hour by headlamp. Last lap must start before 6:20pm to count! Lori Anne will be available to answer all your touring technique and transition questions to help you optimize your next ski tour. Come out and enjoy a rare opportunity to ski at Whitewater Mountain Resort after hours and get ready for the upcoming Ymir Climber ski mountaineering races taking place at the resort January 23-25, 2026. Hot chocolate and prizes after the race at the Yurt until 7:00pm.
Register in advance to secure your spot or sign-up at the Yurt on January 12 before 5:00pm with cash.

This event takes place completely inbounds, so no avalanche gear is required.
