Our 50th Season throwback tour rolls into the early 2000s, when style was questionable, confidence was high, and somehow it all came together.
Each month this season we’re celebrating a different decade from Whitewater’s history, and the early 2000s brought peak chaos to mountain style. Think techy, shiny, oversized, and aggressively confident. On 2000s Dress-Up Day, guests and staff are invited to break out the low-rise or ultra-baggy pants, massive park hoodies, shiny shell jackets, logo-heavy outerwear, zip-off pants, cargo pockets everywhere, trucker hats, skinny goggles, and tinted lenses. Bonus points for bedazzled details, Bluetooth earpieces, frosted tips, or anything that looks straight out of a ski movie burned onto a DVD.
Whether it’s true vintage or a lovingly ironic throwback, this day is about celebrating 50 seasons of our favourite place. Dress up, take some laps, and help us turn the mountain into a full Y2K time capsule.
