The Hummingbird Lodge & Campground Opens Sites to Wildfire Evacuees
With the recent spread of wildfires in the Okanagan and the State of Provincial Emergency, Whitewater Mountain Resort wants to do its part to support those affected and displaced by the fires.
The Hummingbird Lodge & Campground has opened its available Forest and RV campsites to wildfire evacuees for the duration of their evacuation order.
We know that being forced to leave your home comes with an incredible amount of uncertainty and stress. While we can only help a small number of those currently affected, we hope that providing a place to stay can make things a little easier during this incredibly difficult time.
Accommodations for Wildfire Evacuees
If you have been displaced by wildfires in BC and are currently under an evacuation order, please call us at (250) 352-6954 to inquire about availability and reserve a Forest or RV campsite at The Hummingbird Lodge & Campground free of charge.
Sites will be offered based on availability for the duration of your evacuation order.
